IRINGA TRIP.

March 17, 18 and 19 we went to Iringa. It is beautiful and cold! up in the highlands. Just what we needed! We went up to talk with a great pastor who is doing such an awesome job with the projects that were introduced. We went up on Saturday and spent the day in the town and the night at an old farm house which was really neat. Eucalyptus's trees everywhere. (my favorite!) It is just beautiful. And it was so nice to be out of the heat of Dar. Sunday Nick preached all in Swahili! he did a great job. Then we hung out at the Pastors house for the afternoon. I have never seen the full process from running after a chicken until it sit before you cooked on a plate! Very sad. :( But what a great experience. Lunch took about 3 hours to prepare, as it was 3 pm that we ate. But we had a wonderful time. Later we went back to the farm and went for a walk to the lake, then for a hot shower, hot fire and dinner. Then back to Dar the next day. Short but sweet, sweet trip.
