Irresistible!
Nick and I were religiously watching 24. We are in the fourth season and we just wanted to finish it off so we turned it on after lunch and supplied Ethan with a movie as well. When his was done he comes in and says to me in as sweetly as a boy can, May I PLEASE use the scissors to cut you a flower from outside? After a few times of insisting! I said ok. SO I gave him the kiddie scissors and off he went outside. He comes in with a massive leaf. Pretty but it wasn't a flower so I ask him where the flower was. He quickly said no, I think I finished with the scissors... I not want to cut anymore. I was taken by how quick he was willing to give them up but I did not question him. I said ok that is fine just put them back. WELL a few mins later little Ethan comes in and tells me he was sorry for not cutting me a flower but that he cut his hair... "JJJJJUUUUUSSSSTTTTT a little". I didn't notice it before but it was bad enough I had to shave his head and you can still see the spot. He was so upset he liked his hair long like his cousin Kaleb! Thankfully hair grows back. I think all kids go through a stage like this? I did anyway right before a family photo once. I looked like a boy after my mom tried to fix my mess. I think I was four? Anyway there is just something so sweet about Ethan that just makes me laugh rather than get angry... maybe it was because we don't have to have a family photo made and even if we did HE is a boy :)

The spot that was cut, The Before and After.

So Sad :(
