It was my grandmothers birthday. Gigi is what we call her. Great Grandma for the kids and Grandma Guynes for us. She turned 80 years old and it was on Chinese New years! Traditionally we go to the Golden China Restaurant every Thursday and it was just really neat that it fell on her birthday and New years this year. The kids got her some balloons and picked her out a card. We could not get a 'real' shinny ring so we got her a ring pop. She loved that and ate it before the meal! I took Lexxi out of school early. She loves Chinese food so much and since it was gigi's birthday we wanted her to be apart of it. But here are some pictures Of the day and of the people that could make it. Aunt Christi isn't pictured but she was there as well!
