We spent the 4th at Chad Phillips house. There were a lot of MK's there.

Nick played soccer. He was sweaty for the rest of the night.

Ethan playing bad mitten

Just chillen till the sun goes down.

Sparklers...

watching the fire works. It was pretty.

Ethan wasn't afraid this year!

Sweaty nick. :(

Family fun.

Hanging out at the square down town at coffee Ethic then we hit up Nonnas. Yum!!

The Library next to coffee Ethic. looked Danish.

The kids and Nick played sorry.
SUNDAY.

All the missionaries were invited to attend Park Crest and we could have speaking engagements and a lunch afterwards. They had raffle tickets at the end and we won a dvd player and Lexxi won a Nintendo DS. They had gifts for the kids too. It was very generous that they did it for every new missy family.

Lunch.

Those are all presents, and we all got a banner with our name on it.

Opening presents. It was Christmas is JULY!

CBC hosted us all. I liked the campus. Reminded me of the old days when I was a little MK running around for SOM!!!

Nick's Parents came Down for our commissioning service. They took us out to eat at Lambert's. It was a short visit since we had to be back for some meetings but it was good to see Nicks family.
It was my birthday on July 10th and that is the day we got commissioned. Unfortunately these were the only two pics I have of the service and I borrowed 2 from my sister in law of the kids.

Ethan, Lexxi and cousin Luc.
Cousins!!
Ethan, Tori or Alli, Lexxi, Tori or Alli, and Luc. I can not tell the girls apart. Nick's sister Renee's kids.

Leaving Sprinfield we stopped into St. Louis on our way to Chicago to see my sister. Steve and Jill McCarthy came with us. They were on their way to NY.

Holding it up.

I loved this ship.

All of us together.

Looks futuristic. It was a tight fit.

View looking down.

St. Louis

It was crowded too. But fun. We loved getting to be with our friends. We parted ways after this and headed on our way to see Krista in Chicago.
