We have had a wonderful trip but almost too long. We have all been together so much... either in the car or the hotel room or sticking together at Disney World and trying not to loose each other in the waves on the beach. The night we got home to TX Ethan did not want to sleep in his room, and Lexxi only wanted to hang out with me in the living room because she missed me?!! They were spoiled by this trip of having us around so much. However, we did have a fun fun trip. The kids loved it and it was neat to see other states and take advantage of having to be there. I know sounds tough huh?!! lol.
The conclusion I have come too is that no matter where you go in America there will almost always be something familiar to you. Either a Walmart, Target, Mc Donalds, or a holiday Inn express or a Chili's. There is not so much uniqueness as I was hoping for. However we saw a few states and picked from what we could to do and enjoy as time and money permitted! haha. (So we didn't see much!)
And let me tell you... People East of Texas and up... are just not as kind (lets put it that way!) . I knew as soon as we were back in Tx that we were home. When we stopped at the gas station the people were just... Oh so kind. I have never appreciated TX the way I do now!
I Will not post too many stories... just more pictures. But we mostly went through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama to Florida. Then up to Gorgia, North Carolina and Virginia. Then back down to Florida then back to Tx. Enjoy the pics... It might take me a few days to get them all on. Check back soon. Love K.
