MONDAY

I left after the kids were at school to go see my grandparents. It took 2 hours to get there and 2 and 1/2 to get back. We had a fun day being together and it was neat to see how the four of the original Smiths function together. I must say they are some Joyful people! (It must be all that Omega 3 or maybe it is truly the Joy of the Lord!) I brought flowers and Jello! My grma has not been feeling well with the cancer and all so she has not been too hungry but Jello is good and easy to eat. I spent the afternoon running errands with dad and aunt Sharon. We went to eat at Elchico's, had to go to the bank, walmart, gas station, Burkes outlet, First foods and catfish king. When we got home we rested and then I did ear candling on my dad. I was so surprised he let me try it out on him. It was fun and then they took me on a tour of what they had been working on for the last few weeks. Cleaning out every closet, shed, extra houses and trailers that belong to my grandparents. I should have taken a picture of dad holding the vacuum. He is just not that type of guy so it was epic to see him using one! All in all what a fun day. I left there at 7, and hated driving home alone. In Africa I do not drive at night, esp not alone so it just felt so weird, I was happy to get home safely.

On the way there. (my cancer spot on my face that was frozen off, fell off finally while I was there!)

Dad feeding grma. Not that she needed him too, he wanted too! lol

my skinny grma.

Dad shopping and talking on the phone. I think I have seen that face on Ethan dad!

They took turns paying for everything!

After ear candling, grma was my nurse and everyone was watching.
I am glad I only burnt dad ONCE! ahhaha.

Look at her with her knees up like that. Grandpa and Grandpa have been married for 64 years this September!

On the way home.
