Monday and Tuesday this week were no school. It was Eid so we had holiday. On Monday we stayed around the area... went to Mediteranno a restaurant and it had a pool for one of the most resonable prices for a holiday. We had a relaxing morning and afternoon and then Tuesday Nick took Lexxi into town to do a lot of work. Photo copying for his next teaching trip in Morogoro next week. Ethan stayed with me. We made cookies (that didnt really work like we had hoped) played games and watched movies. FYI Ethan hates any movie that is in Black in white! lol
we made all these cool shapes up top but it was so melted by the time we finished we couldnt move them so we ended up cooking circles and cutting them out after we baked the sugar cookies!
The presents Nick came bearing. When he goes into town he is going to a far off land full of riches and treasure. lol Flowers are not expensive here just hard to get usually because we are so far away so those were a treat. I needed 25 pillows plus 3 big size to finish off my projects. So he got all those for me and then four love birds. I tell you our house is a zoo... Between the little hedgehogs and the birds, the dogs and the turtles AND the kids it is noisy. Whinning, barking and chirping constantly. Well and stressful... I was trying to feed and keep warm the two little hedge hogs(we did have three but we gave one away) But they both have died. They were such a treat to have until the end. It is just so sad not being able to help. Here are a few pics of how tiny they were. So sweet!
