The plane was pretty much empty! It was the newest plane I have ever been on in my life. It smelt new, looked so clean too. We even saw our house flying over. The flight took a total of 15 mins. lol Short flight.

We stayed for three nights at the Tembo. Its a very pretty place. We had a family room and my mom stayed with us. The kids got to swim everyday, I must say they were pretty good sports with all the walking we did around Stone town.

These were a few things I saw that I liked at the Tembo. Its all about detail. :)

Fulodoni Square. We ate here the first night. We had lots of meat and chips, and a bannana chocolate crape for desert. It was a very busy place for the community.

Sunday we went to ZAG church. It was really great to see Pastor Dickson and his family. They are growing! Pastor Ben did a great job preaching. It was a nice Sunday, after church we went to eat at a little swahili resturant and then walked home from there. Where we took the kids pictures...

They are getting so big!!

Walking around before closing time...

One of my favorite stores on Zanzibar. The Indian guys in the shop know me by name now!! lol (not because I buy anything but because I come so much when I am there and ask too many questions... maybe one day they will lower their prices for me!)

Walking the streets at night from shop to shop. The kids liked the Masai shop. Nick needed some flip flops.

One night we ate at the Monsoon. It was neat. We ate on the floor. Food was good too.

The Spice tour. The kids really enjoyed it. It was an overcast day so it stayed a little cooler. At the end we had many different kinds of tea and all kinds of fruit!

Touring the church and the palace ruins.

The old sultans harems palace and a traditional swahili lunch.

Walking from the church back to the hotel.

The pretty doors of Zanzibar.

The ladies painting our henna on our arms.

Lexxi, Kathy, Mom and I. Our art work we had done. It was fun and cheap.

Our last night at dinner we ate at an Indian resturant, The Borseys really suprised us with how willing they were to eat spicy food. It is rare that Americans enjoy Indian, well atleat our teams. Way to go guys!!

Mom stayed with the kids while Nick and I took Ben and Kathy Borsey to eat at Addis in Dar then to the airport. This is what the traffic looked like on our way home. It was complete interlocked for about 20 mins we sat there! the joys of Africa!!
Overall a great time. Thank you Ben and Kathy for coming out.
