Brickette Project.

May feels like it just whizzed by! Nick has been working really hard with a church that is close to us. We started working on the brickette project here at our house but then moved it to the church for the people to take over and try to sell to see if it could be used as an income generating project to fund other outreaches. New projects are always hard to get off the ground, to get going but the Lord is really using this church as a true lighthouse. We had a great time this Sunday introducing to the whole church what a few members from the church have been working on. The brickettes are made from a mixutre of dry dead leaves, and recyled paper and water... compressed into a brickette and then dried. It lasts just as long as charcoal and is a ton cheaper! We demonstrated by boiling eggs for the church. Handed out azam juice and water and candy to the kids. Nick and the team explained it and it was prayed over so that it will become a way of life for this community. After people had bought some bricks and were leaving out of the gates of the church people on the road were asking all kinds of questions about what they were carrying and they had opportunity to share... many strangers came in from the streets to buy and hear why and what we are trying to do! It was a great opportunity to talk. And the people of the church got to see a glimpse of the opportunities to come just by these simple GREEN bricks. :)
God is Good, and He loves His people.

This truck we had was a great work truck for Hauling all kinds of materials!

These are what the brickettes look like while drying.

The eggs we boiled nd handed out.

Trying to get them to smile for a picture is hard in this culture. So I made them shout and raise their hands up!

The kids were happy to have Lexxi and Ethan there handing out candy and playing with them all.

Praying over the peieces of the machine and the people.
