Last year a young lady name Laurel came out to help out in Dar. I first met her on a team we had. She was so mature for her age I thought she had to be in college! But no. She is still in high school-graduating this year! She loves the Lord and felt she wanted to help us in some way. She had asked me what she could do to help. So I told her I wanted her to come back out to live with us and help here, But life is kinda busy for her right now and since that couldn't happen the next best thing was to start a tailoring shop. Buying a sewing machine would start a lot of things. She raised $300 that payed for a machine, materials and to hire a tailor for a month! We got it started right away.

This is Laurel. I took a picture of her picture off of fb. Hope thats not illegal!?!

This is the machine we bought on the left, Our tailor... Sebastian and my machine on the right that I am letting him use but turns out its not that great... its been sitting on the coast too long and there is sooo much rust in it. :( He was using it for finishing.

Just some of the materials we bought to start off with.

We made one of the containers into a tailoring room. When we start selling these things all of the proceeds go to help the Development department, and aid in the projects they are doing. I love working with people, and its great for getting into the community. Pictures will come with time.
