Tarangire with Stuva's.

Basket shopping on the side of the road. :0)

Duka

Tarangire National Park. I have never seen so many tourists at a park. There was a car per animal. It is tourist season! It did feel a little like a Jurassic park but for African wildlife.

Tarangire Park.

We stopped in for lunch at a lodge not far from the gate. The food wasn't much to brag about but the view was amazing.

It was like a wheres waldo book but of animals... we could see elephants, Zebra, wildebeest, Ostrich and even a lion kill with lion, all while sipping chai, in a chair on the porch. nice.

The view from the lodge.

Ostrich's, there were quite a few of them!

The animals were not scared at all of us!

Elephants in a line.

The Giraffes

Beautiful Zebra's.

Love the stripes!

The Baobab Tree is the upside down tree. The sign reads... legend says, that the baobab once angered God. It was torn from the earth and planted upside down... These trees are known to live for hundreds, some say thousands, of years.
They are everywhere in Tanzania. The Elephants rub up against them... stripping them for water. Very sponge like wood. The kids are standing next to an elephant skull at the parks entrance. On our way out of the park. We got home around 8, then out to Ethi for dinner.
