The man of our house turned 32! I made him breakfast, and dropped him off at the golf course. We ate lunch at a little cafe and then hung out for the afternoon. When the kids got home from school we went over to the Bay Leaf for dinner. Home for his Liverpool football club cake. : ) Nick is a fan of Liverpool and really wants to watch all the games this season, so he gets 3 months of full package dstv to watch the games. That with some American candy and some shaving cream. (which are indeed signs of affection since they are not everyday things to be had around these parts ; ) He had a great day. And thanks to all those who left him messages on fb, emails and phoned in!

At the Bayleaf... the kids know Nick enjoys the food here, thats why they wanted us to go for dinner. They were so polite and well behaved. I am sure everyone in the place was like 'this is not a place for kids' However, they did great.... and they loved the raw tuna, and beef with soy and caper appetizers. Most kids wouldnt even dare. I have good sports. "How come its so expensive if they don't even cook the meat?"-Lexxi. lol Its true thats a good point. : )
