Medical Processing Week.

My old room in Mombasa. After all have left we were in Mombasa an additional 6 days. We had medical processing to do. Every morning making our way through Mombasa traffic to meet with another doctor. It went well and should have all of our results here soon to send on to head quarters. The kids spent a lot of time in front of the tele, both with horrible ear aches. :( And a few after noons we swam at the golf club to pass the time. It was relaxing not having anything to do after having such a fun busy schedule!

During one of my afternoons waiting in the Dr's waiting room, I found this article in the coast week. Its of my mom and one of her functions as she helps raise funds for breast cancer patients. She is so well known in the community. I am so proud of all they have accomplished in the city of Mombasa over the last thirty eight years. It must be nice to stay in the same place to see the fruit of your ministry. The water is a picture of English point. SO many apartments going up all over. It did not used to be like that. Times are a changing.

We had lunch at the Yacht club between appointments since we were in town. Havent been there in years!

At the golf club enjoying the afternoon after a hot day in town. Kids did so good they deserved to get in a pool and cool down.

On another day, Babu and Nick took the kids out fishing. Lexxi caught 2 bigger fish, Ethan 1 blow fish, Nick 2 little fish. Gave them all away, too much work for such little fish. But the kids had a blast! Thank you Babu!!!

haha look at Ethans face in this picture. So funny!

The day before we left we wanted one whole day of uninterupted day at a pool. (without have to see any doctors) So before we headed to Nyali beach hotel we stocked up on sand from the beach for our sand blaster that we use for Marayapili.

This is my childhood pool. Swimming was the only excercise we did growing up. So many memories at this hotel. We used to get free pool passes for our sycronize displays. Its not that way anymore so one day splurge was all we could afford. I do miss the beach life but I am thankful for where God has us right now, and feel blessed we were able to enjoy a time of relaxing in Mombasa. Will be that last time our family is all together like that for a VERY long time. I am reading the HELP. I am so enjoying it. I want more novels like this!!
