I have been reading to the kids every night a book that was read to me as a child. The Story of Christian and his journey to the Celestial City. Every night while reading I find it so meaningful and applicable within his hidden messages. (even to myself) Tonight I stumbled upon this and it made me realize that without hopeful, Christian would have been dead.
My brother, hopeful said, Apollyon couldn't crush you, nor the Valley of the Shadow of Death. And remember how you played the man in Vanity Fair. Don't forget I'm in the dungeon with you, a far weaker man by nature than you are. This Giant has wounded me as well as you, and cut off the bread and water from my mouth. And like you, I'm deprived of light. SO let us exercise a little moe patience, and bear up as best we can, and KEEP ON PRAYING.
This is where I find my self at present. There are so many things I cannot control happening around me and do not understand why they do. I must endure those Giants because it WILL be worth it. Prayer is the answer to everything, let us have hope and be steadfast in that! K
