FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY.

Here it is in a short scoop. I am not in the mood for blogging. Things are more hectic around here without boss man home. ;) He is such a sweetie and takes care of so much for me. We miss him so much and this is just too long for him to be gone. It has been 13 days and still have 6 to go. So it is down hill I guess now. He was in Iowa, Michigan and Pennsylvania and Missouri. A lot of miles on our little Jetta. Friday the kids got the water guns out because it was hot!! Then that night they watched over the hedge. I rented becoming Jane and 27 dresses. I can only watch chick flicks when Nick isn't here. He doesn't share in my enthusiasm!!?? I liked becoming Jane. And I actually liked the ending!? It isn't my kind of ending but it surprised me and I think I liked that. Duty is always more appropriate than passion. ;)
Anyway so early Saturday morning there was a garage sale here. My cousin Lindsay and aunt Christi had one here. They did ok... sold a lot of stuff. I bought some things there. and took the kids to a few in the area. I am not freaks about it like some people I know (ahem
michal) ;) No I secretly LOVE them too. But I introduced them to the kids and now we are on a date for this next Sat as well. We will have a big one before we leave here. I almost like having them as much as I like going to them!!! I know I am weird. Anyway... after that we had curry for lunch. The family that is here all came. DAVID B. was in Dallas but never showed like we thought he was going too! too short of a trip to make it to Waxahachie hey Davey boy?! Then the rest of the afternoon, I spent running around from the UPS store to the dollar store then stayed here and played with the kids.
Sunday we went to Life church in Midlothian. The kids love the children's church and their friends Ethan and Landon Exley. I LOVE Jason's sermons. They are so good. Every one he preaches is always the most appropriate thing that is going on in my life at that time! I am such a critic too, for me to like you wow you must be rockin! I am trying to get them to find a way to post them online without having to pay for anything... because I so want to listen to them even over seas! their church is growing too. They are a church plant and meet in a school. But that is where GREAT people start. At the bottom and work their way up to the very top. I have great expectations for this couple.
Then the kids and I finally agreed on lunch at Taco Bell it was a compromise. I didn't want a burger like Ethan or rice like Lexxi but they both wanted Tacos! Then the day kinda moved a little slow that afternoon. I was excited for the school week to begin! I never thought I would get that way but ohhhHHHh I appreciate those teacher so much! This week is sluggishly going by. I think I am just so excited for Nick to get home that it is just going to go as slow as it possibly can, isn't that how it goes when it comes to anticipating something? Please pray for him. For safety and for support to just flood in. I know it is possible, all things are possible when it comes to the Lord! Might be a while till my next blog. Just not in the mood. :( Love K.
