This last Sunday we were in Athens TX, with Ken and Jannie Jones. They were such a sweet couple that have known my Parents since the good ol days. I wish I had more time to talk and get some stories out of them! Thank you for letting us come, and for all you do to support us!
It was quite a day though. The service went well and the people, very warm. As soon as we drove off the property our car started to smell and the check engine light was flashing. Nick was very preoccupied at lunch, worrying about the car, and how to get back to Waxahachie. The only place that was open was wal-mart but they couldnt fix it! I called my dad and told him what we thought it was and he told us that we could make it back home as long as we drove slow. He told me to get a fire extinguisher and 2 gallons of water, and some snacks incase we are stuck! haha. And if we were he would come all the way over and tow us back. So we did. We made it home safely and took the car into the shop, we got it fixed and are just so thankful there was no fire, and that we were not waiting on the side of the road. So thanks dad for being there for us, it is nice having someone close to us know so much about cars!
