I have decided Chicago is not for me. It is ok to visit but I am not a city girl. People are fit though, you have to be to walk everywhere! Sat night we went to house sit. It was a nice apt but lots of cat hair. I don't know how people can stand having animals inside!

On the way over...

The apartment.

Miya the cat and Rockie the dog.

Then the next day we went to church at the Vineyard with one of Krista's suite mates Carolyn. Grabbed lunch at a sandwich place and headed to the park. It was a beautiful day.

After church in the foyer.

Walking to lunch.

Me and Krista.

At the sandwich place.

Trees in the park.

Krista and I...
Monday we went into down town. It was really neat. We took the blue line, then the red line. We went to a ton of stores and bought only a pair of shoes. Then we went to go see a movie which was a flop! Who knew it would be so bad? Do not go see blindness!!! Never see a movie before you know what it is about! We had to walk out, we should have asked for our money back.

Downtown.

In forever 21. I think this is the only real smile Krista had the whole time I was there...

We were tired of walking. But it was neat to see the enormity of it all, block after block.

The movie we walked out of.

The beginning of freedom.

Chicago from the air.

It looked like we were under the sea.

Texas.

When I got in Nick and the kids met me. It was really good to be home with my family. We then went to a ministers and wives meeting at a hotel close by. Made a few contacts and got to great a lot of our friends and supporters! We got home late and enjoyed a day with my hubby before he heads off to New Mexico! We will miss him. Life has been so busy. I am trying to keep up!
The kids loved this video of the clouds. It was a beautiful flight.
