Family of K: Keeping busy while Nick is away...

Nick left Thursday. I dropped him off to head out to New Mexico, and Iowa. Thursday after school I took the kids shopping. We needed a few warm clothes. It is a shame we will only be here for 2 more months and we will not need them again really for a couple of years. But we had to have them. Ethan SO badly wanted to by this sweat shirt. I wouldn't spend the 12 dollars on it! I told him to put in on and he can see how he looks when I take a picture. He STILL wanted it and even more when he saw himself! Such a boy!! ;) Love it.

Friday I worked on a mailing we are sending out. The kids and I went to the library, rented 30 books and two movies. watched Gulliver's travels that night and flipper sat morning. They were so bored with Gulliver's travels. The grandparents needed a picture taken for the anniversary booklet in Malaysia. I thought it was a good one of them.

Craft time Saturday... We cleaned up the yard and then made a mosaic out of broken glass from a river bed we collected when we were in Missouri this summer. We used clay and stuck it onto a canvas that we found outside. The kids thought it was so fun.

Most of Saturday they were so hyper. They were so rough I had to take them to the park.

I sat and did notes to pastors... they played and fought!

Sunday.

This is what was missing this morning... The gold lion on the mail box. Someone totally stole it!! Grmpa is natorious for this Lion. He seems to think a football team stole it for winning a game this weekend. Thankfully it is not expensive. But that is just inconsiderate.
