Makete

Thank you speed the light!!! Makete is about 10,000 ft high. We went to see what this little old lady was accomplishing that came to one of the TOT training seminars before we left for the states. She is doing some amazing things. The community is really coming together for the Glory of the Lord. It was a hard road to drive... Many times I felt that we were going to skid right off the mountain. The roads were so muddy we got stuck many times. We are renting a hard top from the field but hopefully soon will be getting a car of our own. We caravaned with the Hanson and Kukendall family. We had to go over very questionable bridges and trees were falling down! quiet an adventure.

We went to the church, the pastor and his wife were really kind to us. We had a service with them and then a little training, questions and answers. Nick spoke and Scott interpreted. The weather was so nice and cool... very different from Dar. It was nice to be colder!

After we left we went to a luthern guest house. bucket showers are always nice when it is cold outside and the water is HOT! The kids had a great time being together. We went on a hike one day up a hill. Ethan being the smallest did extremely well! It was a beautiful day. We went all the way up and then found a way down. It poured just as we were coming down the side and we ate lunch in one of the parks empty buildings.

Kitulo National park.
It was so beautiful... these are some of the pics of the beauty around us.

We drove back home. Now we have been in Tz for 4 weeks.
