Enjoying the community.

School here is how we make friends. We find there are a lot of us working towards the same thing and it is refreshing to meet new people and here stories of their failures and successes. What works and what dose not work so well. Our kids have been drawing us to school. Esp this time of year there are so many things to go up there for. this was a busy week for us. It started on Friday. Mexican food. Yes, we have a friend making it and selling it. kinda under the radar, we are just friends that pay for our meal at our friends house! lol Not much selection but it is still good. They have a pool so the kids like to swim and then eat. It is close to our house and our friends usually show up for it too.

Boot Sale... This is how we obtain American trinkets here in Africa... we just buy other peoples old ones! I love these sales. It was fun, like a huge garage sale. The kids had a jumping castle, there was food to buy and the fire team were there spraying the kids with their water! It was a fun Saturday for us all. :0)

Saturday night we were missing Johnnys so we made chicken Scalopini. We should of fried up the calamari we have in the freezer!

Nick spoke on Sunday at Pastor Nkone's church. This is where he did his internship. It was fun to get to see them after these two years. They were really good to us.

Thursday: Nick was gone all day to a meeting with the development dept. and I hosted my bible study at our house. It was just for 5 of us.. 9-12. It was fun, I shared my testimony and we all just talked. I like having people in my house. This was Thursday and Saturday was Ethan's birthday party. So Friday was busy making the cupcakes from scratch and icing too. It was worth it!
