Ethan's Pirate Theme Party.

A month after Ethan's birthday we had a party. June 6th. There were 13 little Pirates running around. They all came dressed as a pirate. We walked to the beach to dig up treasure. Nick made some cool maps that led to and X on the beach. They loved it. Tootsie roll coins were in the buried treasure box. Then they came back and played pass the parcel. We ate lunch, opened presents and then had cake. We fit seven cars in our drive, a lot of the parents stayed since our house is out of the way for most. So it was fun having that many people at our house. We were outside for most of it. We had finger foods, hot dogs, pineapple, cheese, popcorn and chips.

THE SHIP...

Every Pirate has to have a ship and and Island to find the treasure on! :0) It tasted good, made from scratch. Again, cupcakes are used for every birthday! We had only a few left. I gave them to the neighbors to compensate for the noise level!

Digging into the cake!

Face Painting.

Lexxi and her two friends got to be the artists for these little faces. It was just so hot that the paint started melting off their faces!

The loot bags! filled with ring pops, glow sticks, candied money and tatoos.
It was a fun party. It lasted for 4 hours. Clean up wasn't so bad since I had the dogs do the outside bits :0) Parties are a lot of work!!
