School Begins Again!!!

So we got home from our trip on Thursday, then Friday I went and bought the kids new uniforms for school. Monday school started. I thought they would be a little nervous but no. both of them were fine. Excited to go. They slept well too! We took them to school at 7:10. Lexxi's whole third grade class was in their seats writing. I wanted to go in but lexxi asked me not too.. "please jst take the picture out here mom, don't take one in there!"lol so I took one of her outside trying to get her class inside but she kept leaning in!!! so funny. I let her go after I greeted her teacher. Miss Lucus is new this year to Tanzania.
Ethan's class were out playing. Miss Harrison was Lexxi's kindergarten teacher and now she has Ethan for first. Poor lady has like 16 boys out of 22! Ethan found his seat and read his name, read the name next to him and did a "Oh ya! Joah your next to me!!" They high fived eachother and hugged. SO funny. I immediately looked at Carley and I told her hmm you might want them separated. lol They were by the end of the day.
The kids will have a good year this year. They both will be doing swimming on Monday's and Wednesday's and I will be helping out. Lexxi will be scrimmaging on the soccer field on the days that she wants too for the Under 11 team. I am in the process of looking for a piano teacher. I know I should do it myself, and it just might polish the rust right off, so I might give it a try.

Yesterday was the first day for the art class that Maggie and I are starting. Hopefully by doing this will help me later, and will instill confidence as I venture out later on. It was like the first day of school for us. I knew only a few people but as time goes on hopefully it will get better. We will be doing many different art projects, from clay to cards, lamps to sill life drawings, with pastels, charcoal and what not. It starts at 7:30 and goes till 12. It is just a come and go or come and stay thing. But there is tea and many ladies to talk with. This is a ministry, a lot of women in this group are not saved so just by being together who knows what can or will happen.
I didn't picture any of the ladies their this week but this is what it looks like. We meet at Maggie's house her husband works for MAF and her daughters are in each of my kids class. Mag has a pool house that is empty so she has converted it to this. An creative room. It works great. She has been so encouraging, praying with me with helping me get things started. I am so sad that she is leaving next year. I have known her ever since we lived in Dar4 years ago. I am going to enjoy all the time I can get with her this year.
