Last weeks events...

Art last week. Nick and I had found these liquor bottles in a trash heap near our house on our way to get milk one morning. I loved the colors. We cleaned them up and our art class sat and drew them last week. We had a great time and its fun getting to know everyone. Those are my two interpretations of what I saw! lol It was fun.

On Thursday Nick and I went to wonder welders here in Dar. Where they make beads and things our of recycled glass and old metal. It is a neat thing. We asked a bunch of questions and saw how they make their molds.

THE BIG 3 0!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICK.
Saturday was Nicks birthday. We went to an Island across from our house, snorkeled and had a picnic. The kids loved the whole experience. We had hermit crab races, collected shells and played with the water frisbee. We came back home at 2.

On the way over... and enjoying the sun on the Island...

We came home in time for tea and made Nick a Kili cake. We are both planning to climb next year some time together in celebration of both of us being 30 and our 10 year anni will be next year. We had a steak dinner with garlic mashed potatoes, vegs and a salad. It was a good day. he he then later that night I asked Nick if we could watch a movie together that I had rented from the library at HOPAC! I thought it would be good... called behind the mask. lol It was a hallmark movie!!! Nick hates Halmark movies. I had no idea it was one but poor guy sat through it besides it all. :0)

The cards the kids made.

Yes the cake was one of those hurry up and frost it so we can eat it!! Nick is on top of Kili and I am at the bottom!!
