Sunday.

This Sunday we spent some time as a family for church. We are talking about being baptized with Lexxi and Ethan. Lexxi loves preaching so we let her start off with talking about Mathew. Every night they read Mathew chapter 5 so that is what she was speaking on. She loves this. I find it so cute and fun to see her learning. After English service at home we went to Pastor Hilarys church... Our friend, Paulo was getting married. Swahili culture is for the man to do everything... all the planning, organizing and paying! She just has to look beautiful, and she did. Nick prayed over the couple and blessed their marriage.

The kids sat still and because they knew Paulo they were so interested!

The wedding procession. They walk really slowly so that everyone can see them. It took 15 mins just for them to walk down the isle, I timed it. They both looked beautiful but it was hard getting her to smile. cultrally they are not suppose too.

They got in the car to go to the beach for pictures. We stayed behind and took a picture with Flora, our friend we see everyday. She loves the kids and is always so happy to see us at her church. We then went home. (the picture taking takes a long time) Ethan did not want to go back so Lexxi and Nick went back for dinner and the cake ceremony. Lexxi loved it! She is so social. :)
Ethan and I made pasta and watched Ratatoullie for dinner. He went to sleep at 7 and Lexxi and Nick got home about 9.

Paulo had asked me to make the cake for his wedding, I said I would think about it but the more I did the scarier it was for me to commit. I am not a baker in general and to bake someones wedding cake.... Ya... for their sake, probably best I didn't. lol

Lexxi took this one! I thought it was cute. She likes the camera aswell.
