Still in November...

Tessa McGarvie from Austrailia, born in Uganda but living in Tanzania... lol got to come and visit us for a week. She was such a great little girl, so pleasant and easy. Her mum and dad had to go to Nairobi for a week so it made it easy that there was a routine with school. Tessa and Lexxi decided that they want to be roommates when they go to RVA in the future. Tessa has siblings there now so she is looking forward to boarding school aswell one day. So the toothbrush picture will go up in the graduation pictures when they are seniors! lol.

ART CLASS

Maggie wanted to do BATIK for everyone, she hired a lady who knew what she was doing to come and teach us. It was really fun getting to know a lot of the ladies and their different lives. And all learning a skill. Caustic soda is in the dye so it is very dangerous. I probably will not ever do it on my own but Batik is so common here in Tanzania, it would be a great skill to make available.

Grandma and Grandpa Stuva write to the kids...
It was nice to see pictures of fall! But hard aswell. This heat is draining and it tries to steal our joy. It is hard to get motivated into a Fall/winter Christmas spirit when all you do is sweat. B&B we are missing Iowa, and the weather this time of year, the leaves look so beautiful I think Oct-Nov is my fav in Iowa, weather wise. It would be awesome to be there right now. The kids liked your letter and are in the process of writing you back. We will send something with this next team to mail to you in the States. We miss you. Thanks for thinking of the kids.

Christmas before Thanksgiving!
Thank you Christian Life Assembly in PA!! It was so nice to get things we needed and wanted from the USA!! it is amazing how much you miss the little things. The kids have needed some new shoes. Goggles... You can never have too many of those when you are a swimmer, with the salty air the spoil so fast. It is so nice to be thought of and blessed like this. Thank you for the packages, the yummy food and candy and medicine, for everything you gave. We were so blessed and it felt like Christmas before Thanksgiving. Bless you all.
