OK... so let me tell you. On my way back from East TX Nick calls and says that we got puppies. This is what happened... The kids were playing outside and a car drives by with these puppies, the kids know not to talk to strangers so they watched these people for a while and ran inside. The kids ran inside and Ethan shouting... "The puppies are here, the puppies are here!" lol The lady said here are some puppies you can give them to your neighbor. Well nick was inside and supposedly they just dropped them off and left. Who would leave two 3-4 month old Bassett hound puppies with no strings attached?!! So of course we thought it was a ploy to lure my children to the car! We kept them over night and called the police and the ESPCA the next day. When I called the lady gave the phone to another lady and she was so happy. She was crying when she showed up. She lives two blocks away and had posted posters on every telephone pole in our area! Poor thing was so worried. They were cute pups and the kids were so sad to hear they were gone before they could say bye. We know where she lives though and she has a reward for the kids so we can go and see the puppies anytime we want. How sweet. As for the people that dropped them off?!! I don't know. The puppies HAD a microchip collar on them but when we found them there was nothing. It is just weird that they just gave them to our kids who were playing outside. It was a good lesson learned though. The kids have to close the gate now whenever they are out. It is just safer. Oh and moms, it is always good to call your local community police officer and find the FREE website for pedophilies in your area. To know where they live and sometimes what they spent time in for. The officer that helped me was so kind. I am so thankful it wasn't anything dangerous this time. I believe HIS angels are around them, and I KNOW they are in HIS hands!
