NICK.

Lately Nick has been really busy with meetings and making a book for the national church. The dead line is Dec 1st I believe. He also built this machine thing that compresses recycled paper and leaves and turns it into coal. cooking char coal is aiding deforestation which is becoming illegal here. So providing another alternative is always a joy. 3 small bricketts can cook a meal. So he made this with our guys here on our compound and they are so happy about it and for what it means. The next step is how to use this for the Kingdom. Now that he has done it, it is easier to show how to do... We are in the process of looking for land near by to put a work shop on, we have been praying for a place to create.
Nick is so respected among our national friends. His Swahili is getting better and better and they continue to be amazed. I shock myself with how much I understand and just the other day my house lady said is swahili.... Mama, you understand so well now and speak so well. You even know the cool words! lol fells good to be in the know again thanks to her, she has taught me well!
Nick is on a trip to the mountains. He is in Makete following up on a project that a team helped with this summer. Steven Kurt and Paul Freeman went with him. Makete's whindy roads are scary and this time of year there is a lot of rain so I really hope they dont get stuck, they have to be home by Wednesday night for pastoral duties. I am glad Nick has company for those long hours. He says when they have stopped for anything they play a game of bache ball on the side of the road. lol. Its healthy to add an element of fun.
